Train, Protect, Defend, is a training company based in Denton Texas.

I, Walt Mayfield ,started Train, Protect, Defend in 2019 and as of August 2021 it has become my full-time job. I have always been passionate about handling firearms safely to protect me and my family. As the instructor and owner of TPD I am here to help you do the same.

Here at Train, Protect, Defend, we offer courses like Texas LTC, First Aid Courses, Legal Seminars and more through USCCA. We also offer basic private lessons and group shoots to help you and your friends and family become comfortable with shooting in the event that shooting is your only option for getting out of a dangerous situation safely.

We even provide online classes with in-person shooting portions to keep you comfortable with using our training.
